How to make turtle food: What you need to know

Make your own turtle food at home.

If you’re a turtle lover, you probably already have an eggplant salad and some other turtle dishes on hand.

This recipe calls for a lot of fresh herbs and veggies to add a nice crunch.

And, of course, you’ll need some turtle shells for dipping.

But this turtle-friendly turtle food is even more delicious.

Here’s how you make it at home: To make your own Turtle Eggplant Salad 1 eggplant, halved 1 avocado, thinly sliced 2 tblsp of olive oil 1/4 tsp of salt 1 tbl of pepper 1 tbsp of onion, diced 1/2 cup of sliced cucumber 1/3 cup of shredded carrots, thinly chopped 2 tbsp of tomato paste (see note) 1 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil 2 cups of cooked spinach 1 tsp of garlic powder 1 tsp salt 2 tsp of black pepper 3 tbsp of chicken broth 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves 1 tsp fresh parsley or parsley and basil leaves 1 cup of chopped fresh parsnips Instructions In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and add the onions and garlic.

Saute until the onions soften, about 10-15 seconds.

Add the tomato paste, salt, pepper and olive oil, then stir.

Add in the eggplant and cook for 2 minutes more.

Remove from the heat and toss with the avocado, salt and pepper.

Reduce heat to medium-low and cook, stirring frequently, until the eggplants are wilted, about 4 minutes.

Meanwhile, combine the spinach and carrot in a large bowl, and toss well to combine.

Cover and set aside for 30 minutes.

To make the turtle eggplant: In a bowl, combine all the ingredients and toss until everything is evenly coated.

Transfer to a plate and top with the sliced cucumbers.

Garnish with fresh herbs.

To serve: Sprinkle with fresh parscy, fresh basil and thyme. Enjoy!
